Mahindra and Mahindra is very secretive of their products and keeps them tightly undercover before the official launch. There is a a lot of testing going on for the Mahindra Xylo Mini which has been spotted over and over again. Apart from this, a Mahindra Xylo MPV facelifted new model is also going to launch sometime soon in the coming few weeks. The surprising part is that the launch of these two important Mahindra products are not scheduled for the Auto Expo 2012 in New Delhi.

As per the latest information by a reputed automobile editor, the launch of the Mahindra Xylo Facelift is expected around end of January and the launch of Mahindra Xylo Mini is scheduled for April 2012 in India. Mahindra has launched many of its important SUVs and MPVs not-during Auto Expo in the past.
The Xylo Mini is excepted to be less than 4 meters in length and will create a new segment of compact car, a compact SUV or a Large hatchback with sporty looks and SUV like character. Due to its smaller length and low displacement engine, the Xylo Mini is excepted to fall in small car excise segment and will cost much less than the larger Xylo. The Xylo facelift on the other hand is expected to be more on a aesthetic and feature level as the drive train and engine are not expected to undergo major changes as the existing Xylo is doing quite well in the Indian market. Some refinements and re-tuning might however make it even better than the existing Xylo.
