As a part of an ad campaign, Mahindra has launched a trip around the Western Cape in South Africa with the newly launched XUV700. Mahindra is already a popular brand in SA when it comes to off-roading machines. Its Scorpio-based bakkies and Thar have already impressed experts and customers alike. With the XUV700, Mahindra wants to establish itself as a premium SUV maker offering modern tech features and a powerful engine at a reasonably affordable price point.

Mahindra XUV700 Around Western Cape
Mahindra has uploaded this series on its official YouTube channel. This is the first part of the series where 3 teams of friends have been chosen to take the XUV700 across varied terrains to test its capabilities around Mzansi. For this first round, they have decided to go on the Western Cape which is a popular route for locals, as well as tourists. It consists of outdoor activities like kayaking, exercising, mountain biking and trail running. The format of this tour is that a team will challenge the other teams for one of these activities.

The winning team will get to decide on the activity for the next day. The point of this excursion is to showcase the capabilities of the XUV700 which has what it takes to take people off the tarmac, to some extent. These activities will continue for three days where the only companion these teams will have is the XUV700. Built on the new platform, the SUV is quite rugged and powerful to take on any sort of terrain. That is exactly what Mahindra is trying to show via this campaign since it knows a thing or two about making off-roading rugged vehicles.
