Mahindra has offered ADAS features in the XUV700 to enhance the active safety prowess but people have misused it time and again.
In the latest event, a Mahindra XUV700 owner is caught driving at 195 km/h without holding the steering wheel. XUV700 has created a lot of buzz in the market ever since its launch. This is proved by the long waiting period for the SUV. Its tough build, 5-star safety rating, latest tech features, and powerful engines are some of the major reasons why people are loving it. However, people have often been spotted misusing the ADAS safety feature and ending up with terrible consequences. Here is the latest such case.

XUV700 Owner Drives Without Holding Steering Wheel
The video has been uploaded by Nikhil Rana on YouTube. This channel keeps featuring content around the performances of popular cars during unfortunate incidents and road safety. This time around, another case of misuse of ADAS in XUV700 has surfaced. As per the information in the video, this instance has been reported from a highway in Kerala. As evident from the visuals, the highway has curves in spite of which the XUV700 owner is driving the SUV at 195 km/h.

What’s worse is the fact that he is holding his phone to record this in one hand and trying to control the steering with the other. In fact, he leaves the steering wheel at one point in the video leaving the SUV on its own at such high speed which is illegal, to begin with. It is unbelievable to witness what people are willing to do just to create content for social media to increase their followers and garner more views. If anything bad were to happen at such high speeds, we don’t need to spell out the consequences.

Road Safety
We would like to advise our readers to always follow traffic regulations and prevent overspeeding at all costs. We lose thousands of lives on roads each year.
