Ever since its launch, the Mahindra XUV700 has been a popular car in the Indian market. It comes with powerful engines and offers some of the best premium features in its class. Despite long waiting periods, it is getting costlier and more popular. The highlights of the car include ADAS, a large panoramic sunroof, an AWD drivetrain, a large connected dual display, and more. The XUV7000 price ranges from Rs 13.18 lakh to Rs 24.58 lakh (ex-showroom). The tech-savvy SUV is comfortably outselling its competition currently. Let’s take a look!

According to the latest sales reports, the Mahindra XUV700 sold 6.022 units in the month of June 2022. This is more than the Tata Safari and Harrier put together which sold 3,015 and 1,869 units, respectively. While the Hyundai Alcazar sold 1,985 units, the Jeep Compass managed to sell 892 units. Additionally, MG Hector & Plus has sold 2,402 units last month. In conclusion, the Mahindra XUV700 is way ahead of the competition in the mid-size SUV segment. The popular SUV has sold almost double that of the car in the second place.
The Mahindra XUV700 comes in two broad trims: MX and AX (AdrenoX with AX3, AX5, and AX7 variants. You can choose from a 5 and 7-seater configuration. The mid-size SUV is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol unit that offers a maximum power of 200 PS and a peak torque of 380 Nm. The Diesel engine outputs 155 PS/ 360 Nm in the lower version and 185 PS/ 420 Nm (450 Nm in the automatic variant) in the top model. Both the petrol and diesel engine variants come with 6-speed manual and automatic transmission choices. An optional AWD is available as well with the AX7 AT.

The top-end variant comes with features like climate control, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, Smart Door Handles, a 3D Sound System with 12 speakers, and a 360-degree camera. Safety features on the SUV include up to seven airbags, an electronic parking brake, and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (emergency autonomous braking, lane-keeping assist, and adaptive cruise control). The base model only gets two airbags.
