Mahindra XUV700 AX7 Smart Features LEAKED
If online rumours are anything to go by, we might see a new AX7 Smart variant on the Mahindra XUV700 soon. The XUV700 has witnessed some unprecedented numbers when it comes to bookings. Having garnered over 70,000 bookings within the first month of launch, the deliveries are going to take a long time making the customers a bit frustrated. There have been quite a few customers expressing their angst after getting delivery dates well over 8-10 months even after booking the SUV on the first day. To tackle such issues, Mahindra might soon introduce the new AX7 Smart variant of the XUV700 without the ADAS features. This might help the production by virtue of not making use of too many semiconductor chips. This could be the resource management technique adopted by the company Mahindra has consulted to ensure smooth and rapid deliveries to the customers.

Mahindra XUV700 AX7 New Variant
According to this post of the Mahindra XUV700 Owners’ Club page on Facebook, a certain member has shared that Mahindra might launch the new variant without ADAS features due to the semiconductor chip shortage. This trim will be available at a lower price point, obviously. The major change that people could experience could be quicker delivery times. This could be true but might also just be a rumour as there are no mentions of it on the official website of Mahindra. However, it looks like it won’t be easy for Mahindra to take on new orders for this variant as the older bookings are still pending. We will have to wait and watch what Mahindra has to say about this.
