On the inside, the entire layout has been changed and the final appearance oozes luxury. Overall, the colour theme chosen for the cabin is almond and black. The leather upholstery and premium soft-touch materials are almond in colour while the top of the dashboard is finished in black colour with wooden inserts. There are places around the centre console where a gloss black finish has been installed too. The theme of wood and black is extended to the door panels as well. The switch housing is finished in black which looks premium. Then there is the 9D flooring with mats which are easy to clean.

Exterior
The AX5 variant of the XUV700 doesn’t come with the auto-folding ORVMs. This car modification shop has installed those, along with satin garnish on the lower part of the windows, rain visors with satin finish on the top of the windows, and a satin side body garnishes lower down on the door panels. All these accessories come as a part of genuine Mahindra products which is great for the ease of installation. Hence, the AX5 looks close to the top variant due to all these add-ons.
