The upcoming Mahindra XUV700 has been spied with features like the largest sunroof in the segment and boss-mode seat. The 7-seat SUV is likely to debut in our market in August. It will replace the current-gen XUV500. There are a ton of modern features that Mahindra has officially teased over the last weeks. By the looks of it, the XUV700 might well be the most feature-packed offering in the segment. The spy images, this time around, showcase the large panoramic sunroof and boss-mode seats like in the Tata Safari. The introduction of the XUV700 will shake up the already exciting segment. The 7-seat mid-size SUV space currently features the likes of Hyundai Alcazar, Tata Safari, MG Hector Plus and XUV500. Let us take a look at the already advertised features of the Mahindra XUV700.

Mahindra XUV700 – Spied/Teased Features
For all the sunroof lovers out there, the XUV700 will feature the largest panoramic sunroof in the segment. In addition to that, it will also have the Auto Headlamp Booster Function which increases the intensity and thrown of headlamps after you cross 80 kmph. We have also seen the “Smart Door Handles” which pop out sensing the proximity of the user. There were also reports suggesting that the XUV700 will feature the Mercedes-Benz-like free-standing Dual Touchscreen Infotainment and Instrument Cluster. It is likely to feature Level 1 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) features as well. One of the most prominent safety feature might well be the safety and speed alerts in the voice of your loved ones. These conveniences will ensure high levels of customization and a personalized setup.

Spy Images
The spy images show the SUV from different angles albeit in a camouflaged version. Nevertheless, the silhouette describes the SUV in-depth. The XUV700 will be a large SUV with a typically vertically slated Mahindra grille with chrome inserts. The alloy wheels will be large and stylish along with the chunky side body panels and C-shaped LED headlamps with LED DRLs.

Expected Specs
The powertrain options might include a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine with direct injection technology from Mahindra’s very own mStallion range of engines, making 190 hp and 380 Nm and a 2.2-litre tried and tested diesel engine that might be tuned to put out around 185 hp of max power. There will be options of 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic gearboxes with these engines. There might be hybrid powertrain options as well to aid the fuel economy and probably the power figures slightly. The prices of the Mahindra XUV700 are expected to be in the range of Rs 15 lakh to Rs 22 lakh, ex-showroom. With spied features like the massive sunroof and the others, the XUV700 is sure to attract a ton of customers.
