Mahindra XUV700 vs BMW X5 – Drag Race
The video has been posted by a YouTuber who keeps drag racing a ton of cars against his XUV700. But this time around, the challenge is mighty. In the first attempt, the BMW is set to ‘Comfort’ mode with the AC and traction control ON and Launch Control OFF. At the launch, the XUV700 takes a lead momentarily. But in the next moment, the X5 zips past the XUV like a bullet never to be caught up for the entire duration of the race. This was expected and the odds had to be shifted in XUV’s favour for the next attempt. To accomplish that, the YouTuber decided to put the X5 in ‘Eco’ mode. Thinking that the X5 was now set to its most relaxed setting, they began the race.

Surprisingly, this time, the X5 took off from the starting point like a missile. The YouTuber, who was driving the XUV called it early. He knew that this can’t be the most relaxed setting but the opposite. As it turns out, the occupants of the luxury SUV decided to play a prank on the YouTuber by setting the X5 to its sportiest settings with Traction Control OFF and Launch Control ON. Needless to say, in those settings, the XUV700 was no match for the German SUV and got trounced.
