The special edition models of vehicles give the buyers an opportunity to own something that will stand apart from the crowd
The official TVC of the new Mahindra XUV700 Ebony Edition has been released. XUV700 is the flagship ICE product from the Indian automobile giant. It represents the best that Mahindra has to offer in terms of powertrains, design, in-cabin amenities and latest tech. Note that the facelift model is about to arrive in our market soon. However, Mahindra wishes to maximize the potential of the existing version which is why it has come up with this special model to entice more buyers.
Mahindra XUV700 Ebony Edition TVC
We were able to get our hands on this video courtesy of MAHINDRA XUV700 on YouTube. The official commercial highlights the main attractions of the SUV. For instance, it showcases the Stealth Black exterior theme along with all-black interior layout. This results in a sporty appearance. At the front, we see the black grille with brushed silver skid plates. On the sides, we witness black ORVMs and 18-inch black alloy wheels. Overall, the complete black external styling certainly accentuates its road presence.
Similarly, the black theme continues on the inside as well. You will notice the black leatherette upholstery as soon as you enter the cabin. To give some contrast, there are silver accents on the centre console and door panels. Furthermore, the grey roof liner and dark chrome AC vents make the cabin even more premium. The video clip brings forth the top amenities including a large panoramic skyroof, front ventilated seats, dual 10.25-inch HD screen and much more. I am certain that the new-age car buyers looking for a sporty SUV will truly appreciate this model.

Specs
Despite the exterior and interior enhancements, there are no changes to what lies under the tall hood. Nevertheless, that is not a bad thing. The XUV700 continues to draw power from two engines – a potent 2.0-litre mStallion turbo petrol mill which belts out a mammoth 200 hp and 380 Nm, or a 2.2-litre turbo mill which is available in two states of tune – 155 hp / 360 Nm and 185 hp / 420 Nm (450 Nm with automatic transmission) of peak power and torque, respectively. Performing the transmission duties is a 6-speed manual or an automatic transmission. The higher variants offer the all-wheel-drive configuration which lends it decent off-roading capabilities. You need to shell out anywhere between Rs 13.99 lakh and Rs 25.74 lakh, ex-showroom if you wish to get your hands on one.
