The Mahindra XUV700 AX5 Select variant has been launched in India. It is positioned below the AX5 trim and above the AX3 variant. The aim is to bring some luxury features down to this segment to attract a wider range of audience. Hence, it gets amenities from higher models while being offered at an affordable price point. In this post, I am comparing this new model with the AX5 in terms of specs, prices and features.

Our View
Now, Mahindra has launched this new variant of the XUV700 to entice more people. By offering premium features at affordable prices, the Indian auto giant wants to offer a value-for-money proposition. People who love these convenience features but don’t want to splurge huge cash will definitely opt for it. I suppose it is a great idea to reel in new customers with such special trims. How well the customers respond to this new variant remains to be seen.
