For someone who has received a waiting period of over 1 year from Mahindra, this would be a dream come true. Commenting on this post, multiple people are inquiring about the variants and colours. Some people are also commenting to sell their own XUV700 which they have already received. The Mahindra XUV700 has, sort of, become the most desirable car at the moment in the Indian automobile industry. We don’t know the exact details of the products or variants but it is quite bizarre that people are willing to sell their own cars. Mahindra had announced that they have hired a consulting company to maximize the resource management in the production facilities to ensure smooth and quick deliveries. How effective this turns out, remains to be seen.

The XUV700 comes with a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol unit that churns out a maximum power of 200 PS and a peak torque of 380 Nm. Meanwhile, the Diesel engine is available in multiple states of tune. The lower versions get 155 PS and 360 Nm, while the higher positioned models benefit from 185 PS and 420 Nm (450 Nm in automatic variant). Both the petrol and diesel engine variants will be available with 6-speed manual and automatic transmission choices. The prices range between Rs 12.49 lakh and Rs 22.99 lakh, ex-showroom.
