Mahindra XUV500 is a feature loaded SUV which now will get Apple CarPlay as an added connectivity feature.
Been a feature rich SUV always, the Mahindra XUV500 is all set to roll out Apple CarPlay as a connectivity feature. Earlier, it used to come with Android Auto only. However, this new feature will be made available from May 31, 2019, and will the top trim that is W11(O) will receive the update.
Mahindra XUV500 gets a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system on its W7, W9, W11 trim and the manufacturer said it officially that the added feature will only be available for the top trim as of now. We do expect that Apple CarPlay will be featured in the lower variants as well.
Recently, Tata Harrier also introduced Apple CarPlay for its 8.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system. We believe it was the tough competition which led Mahindra to introduce this inclusion and to go neck to neck.
