Mahindra XUV300 is the 2nd highest selling sub-4-metre compact SUV after Maruti Brezza. It offers both petrol and diesel engine options and also offers first-in-segment features.
The XUV300 turns out to be a rapid success for Mahindra in the sub-4-metre compact SUV segment. Ever since it’s launch on February 14, Mahindra and Mahindra Ltd (M&M Ltd.) have made an official statement that it has already sold about 26000 cars till now. They also said it is the second-highest best selling SUV in the sub-4-metre segment.
The XUV300 is a modern looking SUV with its appropriate designs and proportions and shares its platform with Ssangyong Tivoli which is marked as a successful product, globally. The manufacturer also revealed that 70% of the total bookings have been accounted for the top end variant. Adding to that, it is the top-end 1.2L turbo-petrol variant which accounted for most sales.
Mahindra XUV300 is made available in two-engine options, petrol and diesel. The 1.2L turbocharged petrol motor churns out 110bhp with 200Nm of peak torque. Diesel engine is shared from the Marazzo, the 1.5L turbocharged diesel engine. However, the power is reduced by 5bhp and now being to 115bhp. The torque remains the same at 300Nm. Both the engines are transmitted to a 6-speed manual gearbox and do not come with automatic transmission as of now.

The compact SUV hosts first in class, segment features like dual-zone climate control, all-wheel disc brakes, heated-wing mirrors and seven-airbags for the utmost safety.

Mahindra XUV300 starts at Rs 7.9 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base variant and the top variant will fetch you around Rs 11.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
