Mahindra XUV 700 interiors have been spied yet again. From the latest pictures, we get to know that the SUV comes with a 7-speed Automatic Gearbox. The SUV is expected to launch in India in 2019 to rival Toyota Fortuner and Ford Endeavour.
Just yesterday, the Mahindra Marazzo MPV was launched in India. As you know, Mahindra has total 3 new models lined up before April 2019, after which it would not launch any new cars for a year. After the Marazzo, the XUV 700 (G4 Rexton) and Mahindra XUV 300 (S201) is going to launch in India. Now, we have the latest spy pictures of the upcoming Mahindra XUV 700. It has been spied in a parking lot and we get to see the interiors of the SUV. The upcoming full-size SUV gets a 7-speed automatic gearbox, large touchscreen infotainment system, and many more features. The SUV is expected to launch in early 2019. It might launch at a starting price of around Rs 20 Lakhs, to take on the likes of the Toyota Fortuner and Ford Endeavour.

In the interiors, the first thing that you can spot is the steering mounted controls. The buttons and switches look good enough for use. Then, the centre console with comes with storage option and a 7-speed Automatic gearbox. It gets a dual-tone colour treatment with Nappa brown-Greyish Black colour combination. Also, the large 9.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system is seen onboard.
As we also have the exterior photos, the Mahindra XUV 700 gets the vertically-slated grille, which is not seen in any Mahindra model. If you look closely at every Mahindra car, each one gets a different front grille design. It is a rebadged version of the Ssangyong Rexton G4, which is available in the global markets. Also, the headlamp cluster on this SUV is huge and much dominating.

The Mahindra XUV 700 comes with a 2.2 Litre Turbo-Diesel engine and a 2.0 Litre turbo Petrol engine. The petrol engine churns out 225 BHP of power and 220 Nm of torque. The diesel engine gives 185 BHP of power and a whopping 420 Nm of torque. The engines come mated to a 6-speed Manual transmission along with an optional 7-speed automatic transmission.
Features onboard the Mahindra XUV 700 include LED projector headlamps with DRLs, LED rear lights, Electric Seats, 9.2-inch Touchscreen Infotainment, 10.1-inch Screens for Rear Passengers, Dual-zone Automatic climate control, Ambient lighting, Leather upholstery and WiFi Support. It will also get an electric sunroof, dual-zone automatic climate control, automatic rain-sensing wipers and automatic headlamps.

Safety features of the XUV 700 include ABS with EBD and dual airbags as standard fitments. With that, it gets 8 Airbags, Hill Descent Control, Electronic Stability Control, Advanced Emergency Braking and Active Roll-over Protection.
Lastly, the Mahindra XUV 700 might come at a starting price of Rs 20 Lakhs and will go up to Rs 25 Lakhs. With this aggressive price, it will majorly undercut Ford Endeavour and Toyota Fortuner. It might also compete with Honda CR-V, Isuzu MU-X and the rumoured 7-seater variant of Tata Harrier.
