Mahindra XUV 3XO Spied Before Launch
This post comes from autojournal_india on Instagram. The visuals capture the compact SUV travelling on the road amidst busy traffic. Someone driving just behind the SUV made a video and captured the car with a heavy camouflage. Hence, the rear section of the XUV 3XO is visible. There are LED taillamps which look to be connected via a light bar. Also, the high-mount stop lamp is visible in the video clip. Interestingly, it has the traditional antenna which informs that this could be the lower variant. One also witnesses the roof rails and the side profile is reminiscent of the existing model. All in all, the aesthetics will bear a few modern alterations in comparison to the current version.
Specs
The one area where the new XUV 3XO won’t be different to the XUV300 is under the hood. It will continue to get the powertrain from the pre-facelift unit. This means a 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol direct injection engine producing 130 hp and 230 Nm of peak power and torque. There’s also a 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine which is good for a healthy 110 hp and 200 Nm of peak power and torque. Apart from that, the SUV will also offer a 1.5-litre turbo diesel engine that belts out a familiar 115 hp and 300 Nm of peak power and torque. The owners will be able to choose between either a 6-speed manual or an AMT gearbox at the moment. The current version retails between Rs 7.99 lakh and Rs 14.76 lakh, ex-showroom. The facelift model will command a premium over these.
