The latest official teaser for the Mahindra XUV 3XO reveals the new headlamp design along with a bunch of modern amenities. We have been spotting the spy images and videos of the upcoming XUV300 facelift for a while now. While all of these videos captured the compact SUV under heavy camouflage, the official teasers have been released by the Indian auto giant in the past few days. In this latest teaser, even more details surface. Let us take a look at the details of this equipment.
Mahindra XUV 3XO Reveals Headlight Design and More
This teaser comes from the official Mahindra XUV 3XO channel on YouTube. At the beginning of the 20-sec-long video clip, we get to witness the C-shaped LED DRLs flanking the projector LED headlamps mounted vertically on the extreme edges of the bonnet and bumper and there is a large grille with dotted chrome inserts which represent a modern design philosophy. Apart from that, the video also offers a brief glimpse of the side quarter which is reminiscent of the existing model but has a textured surface on the roof or C-pillar.
What is arguably the most enticing aspect is a colossal panoramic sunroof which is a first in this compact SUV segment. That is bound to attract many buyers. Also, a free-standing touchscreen infotainment display is visible with a physical button at the centre. There are rotary dials to control the HVAC which informs that it is not all touch-controlled. The AC vents are encapsulated with what look like either frames of ambient lighting or chrome. Finally, the tail section contains a connected LED taillamp with a light bar which runs the width of the boot, a muscular layout and a wiper. All in all, this facelift version of the XUV300 will contain remarkable upgrades in comparison to the existing model.
Specs
We don’t expect it to carry any changes to the engine-transmission options. Hence, it will feature the same 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol direct injection engine, delivering 130 hp and 230 Nm. Furthermore, there’s a possibility of inclusion of a 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine generating 110 hp and 200 Nm. Additionally, the 1.5-litre turbo diesel engine will continue to produce 115 hp and 300 Nm of peak power and torque. These engines will pair with either a 6-speed manual or an AMT gearbox. We anticipate these specifications in the facelifted model as well.
