As more details about the Mahindra XUV 3XO emerge, the latest official teaser has given a hint of what to expect in terms of fuel efficiency.
Mahindra has revealed the mileage of the upcoming XUV 3XO via an official teaser. The XUV 3XO is the facelift version of the XUV300. The Indian auto giant has been advertising various new-age amenities of the compact SUV for the past few days. It is creating a buzz on social media ahead of the April 29 world premiere. Until now, the teasers have revealed many segment-first features. However, this is the first time it has showcased some detail about fuel efficiency. Let us take a look at the specifics.

Mahindra XUV 3XO Mileage
This video arrives on the official Mahindra XUV 3XO channel on YouTube. The visuals highlight the interior of the SUV. There is a large free-standing infotainment display at the centre of the dashboard and a digital instrument cluster. As the camera zooms in, the viewers get to read the driver’s information on this panel. Among other details, the display shows the average fuel economy. It reads 20.1 km/l. That is quite impressive in any form. Now, I am not sure which powertrain this is. Perhaps, it belongs to the diesel variant. Still, to know that something like this is possible means that the XUV 3XO will offer low running costs.
Specs
I am certain that there won’t be any changes to the powertrain options in comparison to the existing model. This means that we will see a 1.2-litre turbo petrol direct injection engine generating the best-in-segment 130 hp and 230 Nm, a 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine belting out a familiar 110 hp and 200 Nm and a 1.5-litre turbo diesel engine outputting a healthy 115 hp and 300 Nm of peak power and torque. The transmission duties will most likely be carried out by either a 6-speed manual or an AMT gearbox. There will be a slight premium over the existing price range of Rs 7.99 lakh to Rs 14.76 lakh, ex-showroom.

Via the medium of official teasers, Mahindra has already announced that the XUV 3XO will have tons of modern and segment-first functions including things like ventilated seats, the largest panoramic sunroof in the segment, a digital instrument cluster, a premium 7-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, remote-controlled dual-zone automatic climate control and more.
