Over the last few days, prominent digital artists are coming up with their renditions of what the upcoming Mahindra compact SUV could look like.
A popular digital automobile artist has come up with a rather attractive iteration of the Mahindra XUV 3XO. It is the facelift version of the current XUV300. Mahindra is renaming the compact SUV to mark the second innings of the vehicle. It rivals the likes of the Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet and Maruti Brezza in our market. With such stiff competition, the Indian automaker is updating the XUV300 to woo customers. Let us take a look at the details of this digital iteration.

Mahindra XUV 3XO Digital Rendition
This post comes from Bagrawala Designs on YouTube. The artist has taken great care to develop an accurate avatar of the XUV 3XO inspired by the official teasers Mahindra launched in recent days. As a result, we see the new headlamp cluster with C-shaped LED DRLs, a broad front grille finished in glossy black elements and a sporty bumper. On the sides, the wheel arches are quite pronounced and the black claddings accentuate the sportiness. Apart from that, the SUV also boasts black alloy wheels. At the rear, the most striking component has to be the LED strip which connects the LED tailamps, a distinct roof spoiler, a sturdy skid plate and a sporty bumper.
Specs
While there are no official announcements just yet, I expect the XUV 3XO to borrow the powertrains from the XUV300. This means that there will be a 1.2-litre turbo petrol direct injection engine generating the best-in-segment 130 hp and 230 Nm, a 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine belting out a healthy 110 hp and 200 Nm and a 1.5-litre turbo diesel engine delivering 115 hp and 300 Nm of peak power and torque. These engines will pair with either a 6-speed manual or an AMT gearbox. At the moment, the compact SUV retails between Rs 7.99 lakh to Rs 14.76 lakh, ex-showroom. The facelift model will command a premium over these prices.

Author’s Note
Mahindra is in full swing and wants to grab a large chunk of this burgeoning market segment. Hence, for the XUV 3XO, I am thoroughly impressed by the amenities displayed in the teasers. Some of the top highlights include things like ventilated seats, a panoramic sunroof (Largest-in-Segment), a large touchscreen infotainment display, Segment-first 7-speaker Harman Kardon audio system and more. With such new-age functions, it will be interesting to see if it will be able to attract new customers. The world premiere is slated for April 29, 2024. More details will be revealed then.
