Drag races are often used by YouTubers to test the performance of two vehicles in a straight line
In this post, we take a look at the details of the drag race between a Mahindra XEV 9e and a BMW 330Li. This is an enticing competition between an internal combustion engine and an electric powertrain. Understandably, there is no real comparison between a sedan and an SUV on a drag strip. Still, for the viewers, YouTubers often bring unique products to test their straight-line performance. For now, let us take a look at the details of this recent case here.
Mahindra XEV 9e vs BMW 330Li Drag Race
This post stems from Tushar Sharma on YouTube. On this occasion, the host has the two cars side by side on an empty stretch of road. For the first round, they keep the cars in their most relaxed settings. On the count of three, the two drivers accelerate hard. Initially, the instant torque of the XEV 9e comes to the surface, keeping it ahead of the Bimmer. However, at high speeds, the raw power of the BMW comes to the fore, and it ends up winning the round. Something similar happened in every subsequent round. In the beginning, the XEV 9e took the lead, but the German sedan overtook it every time. Clearly, the winner of this drag is the BMW 330Li.
