The new breed of electric SUVs from the Indian auto giant seems to be resonating well with potential customers
The Mahindra XEV 9e and BE 6 have bagged over 30,000 bookings on the very first day. That is an incredible achievement considering these are electric vehicles with on-road prices starting at over Rs 20 lakh. However, that is also a testament to the quality of the products Mahindra has created. Based on the bespoke INGLO platform, Mahindra will launch a slew of new-age EVs under two sub-brands – XEV and BE. Some estimates say that the booking value of these 30,000 EVs is a whopping Rs 8,472 Crore.
Mahindra XEV 9e and BE Bookings
The bookings commenced on February 14, 2025, and just in a single day, crossed the 30,000 mark. Note that the deliveries will begin in mid-March 2025. Digging a bit deeper, 56% of these reservations are for the XEV 9e, while the rest 44% are for the BE 6. Talking about the deliveries, the Pack 3 version will be shipped to the customers first, followed by Pack 3 Select variants from June onwards. Furthermore, the Pack 2 trim will start reaching the customers from July 2025, whereas the Pack One Above and Pack One will arrive to the buyers from August 2025 and beyond.
