The Mahindra TUV 300 is soon going to get a midlife update. The launch of the updated iteration of this compact SUV is likely to happen sometime during the first half of 2019.
Mahindra has already started testing the 2019 iteration of the TUV 300. As a result of this, several spy shots of the same have started surfacing on the internet.

As seen in this video, we can see that it gets a new set of alloy wheels, a touchscreen infotainment, and an X-Shaped wheel cover. Rest of the design looks identical to the current TUV 300. As we can see, the test mule looks like it a high-end variant.
It might get an updated front grille and some revisions to the front and rear bumpers. Also, we can spot the same dual-tone beige and black interiors.

The Mahindra TUV 300 will get a revised body structure, to meet the upcoming crash test norms. The new norms will come into effect from October 2019. The 2019 TUV 300 will get a BS-VI compliant engine with the mandatory safety features.
Mahindra TUV 300 is an average performer in Mahindra’s lineup. The boxy-shaped SUV competes with the likes of Renault Duster, Vitara Brezza and Hyundai Creta. The prices of TUV 300 are much lesser than that of Creta. In this segment, it is a decent performing SUV.

The TUV 300 gets a 1.5 Lite mHawk diesel engine. This engine produces 84 HP and 230 Nm of torque. The AMT version produces 81 HP and 230 Nm. Other than the AMT, it gets a 5-speed manual gearbox.
The safety features on the 2019 Mahindra TUV 300 will include dual-front airbags, EBD, ABS, reverse parking sensors, speed alert system and ESP as standard fitments. Along with that, the higher-end variants will get a reverse parking camera and ISOFIX.

Currently, the TUV 300 starts from Rs 8.31 Lakhs and go up to Rs 11 Lakhs. The updated TUV 300 might see a minimal increase in the prices.
