In a rather surprising chain of events, a Mahindra Thar owner was slapped with a heavy fine for driving rashly to create viral reels. I have come across countless situations where people end up performing stupid and outrageous stunts to gain more views and followers. They use their cars to create ‘engaging’ content even if it comes at the risk of jeopardizing personal safety. For now, let us take a look at the details of this latest case here.
Mahindra Thar Owner Fined for Driving Rashly
This video comes from ahmedabadmirrorofficial on Instagram. It captures a strange clip which shows a shocking incident. A Mahindra Thar owner is scaring pedestrians away by faking to run them over. Firstly, we see a young woman walking on the road peacefully. Suddenly, this Thar appears in front of her and accelerates towards her. She is just about able to get out of the way. Thereafter, the Thar driver does the same stunt with a group of people who were walking on the road quietly. The man is clearly risking the lives of people just to create content for social media.
Once this video became viral, it even reached the Noida Police. As a part of the Zero Tolerance for Reckless Driving policy, brisk action was taken against the Mahindra Thar owner for driving rashly. In fact, a heavy fine of Rs 35,000 was imposed on him for this act. I, wholeheartedly, welcome this decision and appreciate the quickness displayed in this case to catch and find the culprit. That is the only way to make people realise that such deeds are abnormal and worthy of punishment.
Our View
I support this fine by the Police against this idiot who thinks he owns the road. In the first visuals, he doesn’t even have a legal number plate which is illegal in itself. On top of that, if he made even a tiny mistake while braking, it could’ve been fatal for the pedestrians. Hence, this makes all this even more perilous and worthy of attractive fines and punishment. I encourage my readers to never imitate such lunatics and ensure that you report anyone who is performing such acts to the authorities so that appropriate action can be taken against them.
