Mahindra Thar with 17-inch Tires
As one would imagine, off-roading tires could be the decisive components in an SUV between you getting stuck somewhere or gliding on. Many SUVs and even other cars get stuck on off-road terrains not due to a lack of power in the engine but due to incapable tires. It doesn’t matter how much power and torque the engine produces if the tires are not able to put down that power to the road. These images show 17-inch tires with a high profile. The treads are off-road-oriented too. The main point of difference compared to regular tires is the profile. High-profile tires mean that the sidewall has more rubber which provides better cushioning while driving on undulated surfaces. It ensures that the ride quality doesn’t suffer. They also fill the chunky wheel arches really well. The overall appearance of the SUV is enhanced tremendously.
