It was reported that the Thar driver was trying to cross the river but might have misjudged the depth and ended up getting stuck. The video captures the off-roading SUV in the middle of the river. A few people have tied a rope to the SUV and are trying to prevent it from being washed away by the flow of the river. Thankfully, the current is not too strong. The man on the roof finally breaks the window of the tailgate. Another person swims to the rear section of the SUV to rescue the passengers. Eventually, the entire rescue operation was completed with the cooperation of many locals.
