Thar is the most popular off-roading machine in the country which encourages people to attempt some stunts that are just unthinkable in other vehicles.
This video captures a shocking incident while the Mahindra Thar driver was attempting a crazy off-roading stunt. Thar is unarguably the best off-roading SUV in our market at this price segment. It has been around in India for years but its latest iteration launched last year has been particularly successful. The waiting periods on certain models in some cities are still long. Its sheer adventurous capabilities are attracting new buyers as Mahindra has made an effort to make it feature-rich and comfortable to be used as a daily car too.

Mahindra Thar Off-Roading Stunt
This post has been shared by mahi_cars09 on Instagram. The video clip shows the Thar being driven on an off-roading track. In fact, there is a huge slope up a hill with bushes on the way. But that doesn’t stop the owner from attempting the stunt to power the SUV through it to reach the top. As a result, he accelerates quite hard in order to overcome the resistance caused by the small hillock. He is able to cross everything but unfortunately, at the time he reaches the top next to a Toyota Fortuner, he ends up hitting the person standing next to it.

The visuals are quite horrifying seeing the leg of the man hit by the force of Thar. However, the person doesn’t fall to the ground and looks relatively fine. It could be due to the fact that the SUV didn’t go through completely and the driver was able to apply brakes on time. Nevertheless, there is an evident jerk to the man. Thankfully, the Fortuner is not damaged. Such attempts must be performed under expert supervision keeping the safety of everyone in mind.
