Mahindra launched the Earth Edition of its 3-door Thar a few months ago to set it apart from the regular trims
There are some immensely enticing discounts on the Mahindra Thar Earth Edition. It is not every day that one gets such benefits on the popular Thar. Thar has to be the most successful off-roading SUV in our country. It has been around for close to one and a half decades. In its latest avatar, the Indian auto giant has launched its most practical version to date – Thar Roxx. It has 5 doors, a longer wheelbase, more space, more features and tweaked powertrain options. Hence, people are flocking to buy it. During this process, the 3-door model is facing issues in attracting new buyers.
Discounts on Mahindra Thar Earth Edition
This post stems from MRD Cars on YouTube. The vlogger gives us a walkaround tour of the car. We are already familiar with the exterior. Apart from the Desert Fury colour and a few Earth badges on the body, there are no styling changes to the off-roader. Similarly, on the inside, there are a few bronze inserts on the dashboard and AC vents to distinguish it from the regular model. Still, the features list remains the same. Note that this is the top-of-the-line diesel manual 4×4 trim which gets all the bells and whistles.
The main attraction lies in the insane discount. The vlogger mentions that at this dealership, there are official benefits worth up to Rs 3 lakh on the Mahindra Thar Earth Edition. However, if you can negotiate on the table, these might even stretch to around Rs 3.5 lakh. This is a huge number with respect to the price range of the Thar. Since this is a unique variant with a distinct colour theme, perhaps people didn’t get on board with the SUV. Now, in order to clear the stock, dealerships are offering insane discounts to entice customers.
