Mahindra Thar Drifting
The post has been uploaded by _its.sakib_ on Instagram. In the first half of the video, it showcases two Mahindra Thar SUVs performing drifts on a dirt track. However, one of them topples over as the driver loses control. The subsequent section of the video captures a group of people picking the SUV up and bringing it to its feet. It is entirely possible that there was some issue with the track or the fact that the driver was inexperienced.

It must be noted that the track has mud and water making the surface extremely slippery. As a result, it is challenging for any vehicle to retain traction. On top of that, the experience of the driver makes all the difference in such scenarios. Thankfully, there were people around who were able to turn it back on its belly as soon as it toppled over.

Safety
We would like to caution our readers to not get involved in such activities if you don’t have enough experience or a suitable vehicle for it. Note that such stunts will invariably cause mechanical wear and tear to the vehicle even if it is an off-roading SUV. The SUV has a high centre of gravity as more ground clearance is the need of the vehicle to tackle off-roading challenges. Thar is not meant for drifts because it is tall and susceptible to toppling over as seen in this video. Make sure to promote safety and responsible drifting.
