During election rallies, politicians often use a vehicle with an open roof to greet the people on the roads. This video clip show PM Modi attending Vijay Day parade infrom a convertible Mahindra Thar.
This convertible Mahindra Thar is PM Modi’s new rally vehicle. The PM was seen greeting the public on the roads of Gandhinagar, Gujarat. Now, Thar is a lifestyle off-roader that is capable of conquering almost any terrain. Its height and road presence make it a great choice for people looking for a bold SUV, while its drop top enables the user to easily stand inside the vehicle. Owing to all these attributes, it is no surprise that PM Modi chose this as his ride to address the rally. Soon after the visuals of PM Modi and the Thar went viral, Anand Mahindra Tweeted a note of thanks to the Prime Minister for choosing an Indian vehicle for his rally.

Mahindra Thar as Modi’s Rally Vehicle
The video has been uploaded on a news channel and show PM Modi in white standing out of the roof of the Thar. A member of his personal security is also seen standing by his side. However, he is standing at the rear section of the SUV which is also open. There are no traditional seats but an open boot area making enough space for others to stand there. This Thar looks like the Steel Grey shades with minute modifications to the face. The visuals show black elements slapped on the bumper to complement the grille. The bonnet is decorated with a ton of flowers. This is a great rallying vehicle because of the ease with which the roof could be completely taken off. Its tough and rugged build quality is a big positive for it to be a worthy PM carrier.
