In a shocking video, a Mahindra Thar breaks a Police checkpost. Thar is the most popular off-roading SUV in the country. It has been the enthusiasts’ choice since its inception. Adventure seekers opt for the Thar for years now. The model in this video is an old one. At the time, it was the only capable lightweight off-roader in the country. Now, we have SUVs like the Force Gurkha and the 5-door Maruti Jimny. In fact, Mahindra is also planning a 5-door avatar of the Thar in the coming months. Let us take a look at the details of this latest incident.

Mahindra Thar Breaks Police Checkpost
The video comes from itsharshsandhu on Instagram. It captures an astounding visual. The Thar owner drives the SUV through a Police barricade. One could clearly see that the Police officials have established a checkpost on the road. Still, the SUV comes at high speed and collides with the barricades. We are not sure of the exact reason for this. It is possible that the driver was not paying attention to the road and suddenly saw the barricades. By that time, it was too late. Interestingly, he applies brakes soon afterwards.

The video also shows the man reversing the car once he realises what transpired. At stopping a few metres ahead of the barricade, he halts his SUV and starts reversing. The police personnel surround the car, perhaps to question the driver. The details of what happened next are not available. But we are certain that the Police must have investigated the reason for such behaviour. Unless we know the full story, we refrain to comment on the matter.
