This is because these floods arrive in a matter of seconds and could be accompanied by landslides or be a result of cloud bursts. Hence, one needs to watch out for these when you’re travelling in the mountains during the monsoons.

Finally, we would like to advise our readers to refrain from travelling to the mountains in rain. Landslides, cloud bursts and flash floods are common during this season and one can’t ever predict what gets affected suddenly. Also, while parking the car, make sure that it is not parked under a tree or a mountain which looks loose. Such minor measures could help you in making informed decisions and ensure your safety, as well as the safety of your vehicles.
