Mahindra has updated the Scorpio N with powerful engines, modern features and a premium cabin but let’s see what happens when it competes with the old Scorpio S11 in acceleration test.
This is a great video of a drag race between a Mahindra Scorpio N and the old Scorpio S11. Mahindra introduced the Scorpio N with a ton of changes to offer a premium version of the regular Scorpio. It comes with all the bells and whistles in terms of modern tech and powerful engines. On the other hand, the old Scorpio, which is now sold as Scorpio Classic in its latest avatar, is the old workhorse that is popular for being rugged and practical. What happens when these two drag race each other?

Mahindra Scorpio S11 vs N Drag Race
The video has been posted by a popular YouTuber. He has the new Scorpio N and the old S11 for this race. Since everyone knows the capabilities of the new Scorpio N, they decided to give advantage to the old Scorpio from the very beginning. There are 3 people in the Scorpio N and 2 people in the S11. The AC is ON in both SUVs for the first round. As soon as the race commenced, the N took the lead and increased it throughout the course of the race. It emerged a clear victor at the end of the first round.

For the second round, the YouTuber decided to turn the AC on in the Scorpio N and OFF in the S11. More importantly, he decided to start the race a few seconds later than the S11. Nevertheless, there was no change in the final outcome. The N swiftly overtook the S11 and ended up winning convincingly. For the third round, they decided to do a rolling acceleration test. This time around, the N started from behind and overtook the S11 in a matter of seconds. Hence, the Scorpio N was an undisputed winner of this race of different generations of the Scorpio.
