The entire event was organised by evo India, which shares the episode on its YouTube channel. The host of the video mentions that the entourage will commence its journey from the deck of INS Vikrant and traverse across the country. Flagging the event off from INS Netaji Subhas in Kolkata, West Bengal, 5 XUV300s, 4 XUV700s and a Scorpio N travelled down south and came back to Gujarat tracing the west coast of the country. On the way, the Indian Navy officials visited tons of locations which hold maritime significance, beach clean-up drives, schools for special children to make donations, prominent forts, lighthouses and more, covering a colossal part of the country.

It is fascinating to witness the Indian Navy selecting Mahindra SUVs for this trip. It is a clear recognition of the Indian auto giant. What it has been able to achieve in the last few years is just commendable. At the moment, its mega-successful SUVs like the XUV300, XUV700, Scorpio N and Thar are among the frontrunners in their respective segments in terms of sales. As a result, it comes as no surprise that even the Indian defence forces would opt to go with these SUVs. We must also mention that all these SUVs (except Thar) boast a solid 5-star safety rating at the Global NCAP. On such historic journeys, having a safe car is of paramount importance.
