While the official word on the specs of the Scorpio is not out yet, we expect it to carry a similar diesel mill as the current model, while the petrol engine could be borrowed from the Thar. The Harrier, as you might know, comes with a sole diesel engine.

Mahindra Scorpio N vs Tata Harrier – Design Comparison
According to the official trailer by Mahindra, the Scorpio N will feature vertical slats finished in chrome at the front, will have a redesigned bonnet hood without the air ducts, C-shaped LED DRLs surrounding the fog lamps on the bumper, dual-LED lights integrated into the projector LED headlamp cluster, beefy skid plate, elegant alloy wheels, side step for enhanced ingress and egress, functional roof rails, silver side body skirting, chrome belt under the window line that looks like the erstwhile XUV500, a vertically stacked LED taillamp setup with a sporty bumper at the rear. The exterior of the Mahindra Scorpio N will bear resemblance to the exiting Scorpio and the XUV500.

The Tata Harrier is based on Tata’s award-winning Impact 2.0 strategy which makes the Harrier’s presence on the road very dominating indeed. The front end of the SUV is busy with Xenon HID Projector Headlamps on the bumper and the sleek LED DRLs on the bonnet with integrated turn indicators, a broad front grille, sporty bumpers and a tall stance. The sides host 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, Aerodynamic Electrically foldable ORVMs, chrome finish on the window belt, floating roof effect and chrome outside door handles. The rear is very sophisticated with a sleek LED tail lamp cluster, Shark Fin Antenna, a glass strip connecting the tail lamps, a rear spoiler and a sporty rear bumper.

Interior & Features Comparison
While the interior and features of the Mahindra Scorpio N have not been officially revealed, multiple spy shots give a glimpse of what the cabin would look like. This includes things like a brown interior theme on the armrest between the front two seats, rear AC vents, rear USB charging port, blower control, brown soft-touch material on the dashboard, large touchscreen infotainment system, digital instrument cluster, steering mounted controls, vertical AC vents, drive mode selector, grab handles on the A-pillar to ease the entry into the cabin and large storage space at the centre console area between the front seats.

It must be mentioned here that the prices of the Scorpio N are only for the manual transmission variants. The prices for the 4×4 and automatic variants will be announced later. Also, these are introductory prices until Mahindra receives 25,000 bookings for the new Scorpio N. After that, the will be an increment in these prices.
