Mahindra Scorpio N is the newest entrant into the full-size 7-seat off-roading SUV segment in our market of which the Ford Endeavour is a prominent product.
In this video, Mahindra Scorpio N proves how capable of an off-roader it actually is. This segment was dominated by the iconic Ford Endeavour and Toyota Fortuner for the longest time. Now that Endy is out of the equation on account of Ford quitting manufacturing in India, Fortuner is the sole dominant product in the space. However, the new Scorpio N has been designed to offer great off-roading capabilities at a much more affordable price range when compared to the Fortuner.

Mahindra Scorpio N Off-Roader
This video has been posted by Anshuman Bishnoi on YouTube. He posts such content to showcase the off-roading prowess of popular products. In this video, the team has chosen a slippery slope where the power and traction of the SUVs are tested. They have all the major off-roading machines including the Ford Endeavour, Isuzu V-Cross, Mahindra Scorpio N, Maruti Gypsy and more. The visuals capture Endy struggling to climb uphill due to a lack of traction in one activity. It had to be towed away by the Isuzu.

Mahindra Scorpio N was able to conquer this obstacle with relative ease. Even the other SUVs made it through. There is continuous rain in the area where the team is shooting this event. It makes the surface even more slippery and the vehicles lose traction instantly. For the subsequent hurdles, the Isuzu V-Cross is sent ahead to test the track. Then the rest of the SUVs follow. Considering the overall performance of the Scorpio N, it looks promising.

Mahindra Scorpio N comes with a 2.0-litre mStallion direct-injection turbo petrol engine that produces 200 PS and 380 Nm. It even offers a 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine that is available in two tunes. It produces 132 PS / 300 Nm in the lower variant and a massive 175 PS / 400 Nm of peak power and torque in higher variants. There are manual and automatic transmission options to choose from along with the 4×4 drivetrain. The prices of the Scorpio N range between Rs 11.99 lakh and Rs 23.90 lakh, ex-showroom.
