The new Mahindra Scorpio N has wooed a whole lot of potential customers and automobile experts alike with its focus on modern features and hardcore off-road gear.
An artist has imagined a new version of the Mahindra Scorpio N with a tailgate-mounted spare tyre. This layout is reminiscent of retro Jeeps and other rugged SUVs in Mahindra’s lineup like the Bolero. Perhaps the most common SUV with the spare wheel at the rear in recent times was the Ford EcoSport. While it is easy to use in case of tyre change, one has to be mindful of its whole parking and driving. Let us check out what this could look like in real life.

Scorpio N With Tailgate-Mounted Spare Tyre
These images were shared on the Rushlane Spylane page on Facebook with image credits to Binny Zacharia. This looks like a great idea to use the spare wheel like this. It saves the hassle of removing the tyre from underneath the boot of the car in the case of swapping. In this image, the tyre also doesn’t seem to block the view out of the window which is a common issue with the boot gate-mounted spare wheel in some SUVs. The cover wears the Mahindra badge and the lettering which suggests that something like this could be a part of genuine Mahindra accessories.
