In a bizarre exposé, it has been established that the recent video of a Mahindra Scorpio N sunroof leakage was fake. Arun Panwar is the YouTuber who posted the video where he is seen parking the SUV under a waterfall as water starts to creep into the cabin. Scorpio N has been received extremely well by the audience as the waiting periods are well over a year. It represents a new and modern version of the iconic SUV that has been immensely successful in our market for years. Here are the details proving that the video was fake.

Mahindra Scorpio N Sunroof Leakage Video Was Fake
The exposé has been done by one Dr Vikas Singh on his blogging website. He is a doctor and a car enthusiast who also watched the original video where water is being shown entering the cabin of the Scorpio N after it was parked under a waterfall. However, he claims that this video has been doctored on many accounts. The doctor monitored the video carefully to figure out the inconsistencies. Here is what he noticed.

Firstly, the duration for which the SUV was under the waterfall was around 11 secs when looking at the video that was shot from inside. However, the video from the outside shows that it was just around 3 secs. Secondly, the passenger window of the SUV was open when the YouTuber was backing it under the waterfall. However, the second video from the outside showed that it was closed. Thirdly, there are no wires seen wrapped around the gear level in the first video, while there is a dense white wire around it when the cameraman shoots the incident from outside.

YouTuber Misleads Viewers
Finally, as soon as the YouTuber shows water entering the cabin, he moves out and opens the sunroof. That is recorded in the video that was shot from the inside. However, it is seen closed when the cameraman approaches the SUV from the outside. Hence, it is clear that the YouTuber shot the videos twice to mislead the viewers into thinking that there was a leakage in the sunroof of the Mahindra Scorpio N. The aim is to clearly criticize popular cars to gain social media views and engagement. We suggest our readers be wary of such videos.
