The much-awaited Mahindra Scorpio N has recently been launched in the Indian market. So far, it has received good reviews from the industry and customers. The new SUV comes with modern tech features, a styling design, and powerful engines. It also retains the ruggedness and strong build quality of the Scorpio models. As you can see in the YouTube video above, the Mahindra Scorpio N Automatic variant (Petrol) handles pretty well at high speeds of 140, 160, and 170 km/h. The body roll is slightly less than the previous model. The heavy build removes any chances of spin. The performance of the vehicle is very smooth. The automatic variant works better than the manual version. Overall, the new model emerges better in terms of drivability, comfort, and performance. Also, the road presence is good.
The Mahindra Scorpio N is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine that offers a maximum power of 202 bhp and a peak torque of 370 Nm. The new SUV comes with a 6-speed manual transmission. However, the optional automatic transmission offers a peak torque of 380 Nm. Along with a new suspension system, it gets a dedicated 4WD system with a rear differential lock. Additionally, the Scorpio N comes with three driving modes – Zip, Zap, and Zoom.

Additionally, the Mahindra Scorpio N comes with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, semi-digital instrument cluster, dual-zone climate control, cruise control, front and rear cameras, wireless phone charging, sunroof (non-panoramic), and steering-mounted controls. Safety features on the SUV include hill assist control, a tire pressure monitoring system, electronic stability control (ESC), and up to six airbags. The Scorpio N price ranges between Rs 11.99 lakh and Rs 18.99 lakh, ex-showroom. However, the prices of the automatic and 4×4 versions will be revealed later this month.
