Mahindra Scorpio N is selling like hotcakes at the moment but there are a few owners who are facing some issues in their new SUVs.
Weeks after a vlogger alleged leakage in the sunroof of his Mahindra Scorpio N, another vlogger of the popular SUV has reported many issues with his vehicle. In fact, the owner is clearly very vocal about his disappointment with the vehicle. He has even talked about buying an SUV like a Ford Endeavour or a Toyota Fortuner to replace his vehicle. It must be noted here that the Scorpio is an established name in our market since ages. In a bid to cater to a new audience, Mahindra launched the Scorpio N, a clearly more upmarket option. The new SUV has been a runaway success, which something that can be seen in the long waiting times. On the other hand, the Toyota Fortuner has been one of the most aspirational vehicles on sale in the country.

Mahindra Scorpio N Alleges Multiple Issues
The video has been uploaded by Ashwin Singh Takiar on YouTube. He is a Scorpio N owner. He also owns a white Toyota Fortuner. This makes him a perfect candidate to discuss the ownership experiences of both these SUVs. He states the issues that he is currently facing with his new Scorpio N which has just been driven for over 6,000 km. He even shows the check engine light on the instrument console. Moreover, the vlogger alleges that the vehicle automatically cuts the engine’s power and goes into limp mode.

In this mode, the SUV doesn’t accelerate regardless of how much accelerator one presses. The YouTuber says that he took the SUV to the service centre in the past where the staff is clueless about the issue. Diagnosing problems in the new Mahindra cars takes a long time for the workshop mechanics. That is a huge concern. Furthermore, there is also the DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) error where the filter gets choked for some reason.

Vlogger Wishes to Upgrade to a Used Ford Endeavour or a Toyota Fortuner
Hence, the owner is so frustrated with all these problems in his brand-new SUV that he is contemplating buying another Toyota Fortuner or a used Ford Endeavour. Basically, he wants a 4×4 SUV in the range of Rs 30 lakh to Rs 60 lakh. He even asks the viewers to suggest a suitable SUV for him. Also, he urges Mahindra to work on these errors in their cars. He also, says that these SUVs are capable and powerful. It is just these few issues that are posing challenges for the owners. If these are fixed, he would love to go for Mahindra products.
