Mahindra is all set to launch a new pickup concept in India. The Mahindra Scorpio-N Pick-Up will be revealed on Indian Independence Day, 15th August.
Mahindra & Mahindra is one of the most successful automotive brands in the Indian market. It is known for launching/ unveiling a new model on Indian Independence Day. This year, the company is working on a new new pickup concept, based on the Mahindra Scorpio-N. It has already released a visual teaser of the Global Pik Up Vision on its social media handles. The Mahindra Scorpio-N Pick-Up will be unveiled on the 15th of August. Here’s all we know about the upcoming vehicle:

Mahindra Scorpio-N-based Pik-Up Codenamed Z121
As you can see in the teaser, the new teaser by Mahindra highlights the front grille of the upcoming pickup truck. It also features the Mahindra’s twin-peaks logo, single-pane sunroof, alloy wheel design, and big tyres. The rear profile includes LED tail lamps and a deck lid. The upcoming vehicle (codenamed Z121) has been in development for a while. It is based on the Mahindra Scorpio-N. The new car is likely to feature a double-cab body style and a tray back bed.
The Mahindra Global Pik Up Vision will differ from the Scorpio Getaway which is available in Australia as the Mahindra Pik Up. In India, the Mahindra stopped offering the previous-generation Scorpio Getaway after launching the Scorpio Classic. A refreshed version was launched in global markets like Australia and South Africa. Just like Scorpio-N, the Mahindra Global Pik Up Vision is likely to be powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine and a 2.2-litre diesel engine.

Targeted at South African Market
The production version of the new Mahindra Global Pik Up Vision is expected first launch in South Africa. It could launch in India in the first half of 2025. It is likely to come with an affordable price tag. The upcoming model will compete with the likes of the Isuzu V-Cross and Toyota Hilux. It is to be noted that the pick-ups are not doing well in the Indian market. As a result, Toyota is offering huge discounts to attract consumers. Apart from India, Mahindra is likely to launch the new model in Australia and South Africa as well.
