Mahindra Scorpio N in -20 Degree Celsius
The video has been uploaded by Bulu Pattnaik on YouTube. This is part of a series that the YouTuber is filming in the snowy areas of the Himalayas. In this video, they are located in Sissu, Himachal Pradesh. As seen from the visuals, there is a lot of snow on the road. In fact, the Thar and the Scorpio N are submerged in the snow till their tyres. It looks like a fresh spell of snowfall. The YouTuber first clears the snow from the body of the SUV. Then, he enters the cabin and switches the ignition on a couple of times to get the heating element ready.

Finally, after a few attempts of switching the ignition ON, he tries to start the SUV. To everyone’s surprise, the SUV started on the first attempt itself. It would be fair to say that no one was expecting this. It also goes to show how technology has advanced that diesel vehicles don’t have any problems even in such low temperatures in their modern avatars. There is also a Mahindra Thar with this group that also didn’t have any issues with a cold start.

After moving the SUV at the parking spot for a few minutes, the YouTuber tries to move out of it. But it looks a bit challenging as the tyres don’t have too much traction. But once the Thar moves out, the Scorpio N driver also follows. Because the snow is fresh and soft, the SUV is able to make it to the highway. From there on, the team is seen travelling cautiously on the highway with thick snow on both sides of the road.
