Mahindra and Mahindra has launched the base model of Mahindra Scorpio EX in Pune, Maharashtra in May 2011 at an ex-showroom price of Rs. 7.21 Lakhs. The same was not launched in Delhi at that time, today M&M has launched the same EX variant of Scorpio SUV in Delhi today at an ex-showroom price of Rs. 7.59 Lakhs (ex-showroom).
The new Scorpio EX model delivers an ARAI certified mileage of 14 KMPL. The Scorpio EX comes with Micro Hybrid technology which helps to improve the fuel efficiency of the car. Some of the highlighted features of Scorpio EX include digital Immobilizer for theft protection. The new Scorpio with lesser power has enough torque to make it drivable with its refined engine and delivers a good mileage.
