The arrival of the new Mahindra Scorpio N might cause the existing Scorpio Classic to get a slightly revised design styling too.
According to various spy images seen so far, the Mahindra Scorpio Classic (existing model) will get a fresh styling package for the front fascia when it re-launches in the market after the arrival of the new Scorpio N. Slated for launch on June 27, the new Mahindra Scorpio N will be catered to those looking for a comfortable and feature-rich SUV whilst having the robustness of the current Scorpio. On the other hand, the current model will soldier one with some revisions, and, possibly, price cuts, to cater to those on a strict budget. It must be noted that in spite of its age, the current generation of the popular SUV enjoys a decent demand. Also, the next-gen model is sure to cost more, which means continuing with at least the lower trims makes immense sense.

Mahindra Scorpio Classic Revised Styling
The spy image seen above shows a half-camouflaged test mule with a concealed front end. It looks like the image has been taken in a workshop. The bonnet of the SUV is opened. However, the talking point of this image is the front grille area. It resembles something that we have seen on the new Scorpio N images that have been made public by Mahindra a few days ago. The vertical slats at the front are reminiscent of the new-age design philosophy of Mahindra. There could be chrome embellishments on the grille too.

Apart from that, the bumper and the radiator grille down below seem new as well. This will lend the veteran SUV a new perspective with a sportier appearance. It would be interesting to see what other exterior modifications Mahindra decides to perform on the Scorpio Classic. Also, there might be a few upgrades to the interior of the SUV, which has not been changed for a long time now.

The exact specs of the 2022 Mahindra Scorpio N will be revealed only at the time of the official debut but it looks like the new SUV will share its engines and transmissions with the Thar. We had also reported that the base petrol model of the 2022 Scorpio N could start from Rs 14.50 lakh, ex-showroom.
