Mahindra & Mahindra is a brand which inspite of gaining less experience in the car sector, carries hell lot of potential to give all market leaders including Honda, Maruti Suzuki and Tata a run for their money. Since the day when Mahindra bought majority stakes in electric car manufacturer Reva, its plans and strategies were kept covered.
Now the brand is bringing some transparency to what plans it has in the near future regarding the Reva. The company has also made announcement on launch of Reva NXG and Reva NXR in India by 2011 end, but what is more important for the brand is to explore other potent markets so as to acquire better sales figures.
So following other manufacturers who intend to launch their products in other global markets, Mahindra is also planning to launch Reva in the Chinese market. Another reason is said to be the growing demand of eco-friendly vehicles across the world which could either be hybrid vehicles or electric cars.
The Chinese market will see a growth of approximately 5 million vehicles by 2020 and if it happens then other markets across the globe will also show some similar characteristics and once these vehicles are launched, it will be really helpful for the company to grab a good number of sales.
