The upcoming model is basically the 125cc variant of the Gusto automatic scooter that has been on sale since some time now. The new Mahindra Gusto 125cc variant carries all the features of the 110cc variant, but is powered by a more powerful, 125cc motor. The Mahindra Gusto 125cc launch will take place soon after the Auto Expo 2016, which means we can expect the launch to take place around mid-February this year.

As we said, the Mahindra Gusto 125cc price announcement will take place only at the time of its official launch. However, it would be only safe to expect the Mahindra Gusto 125cc price to be roughly INR 56,000 (ex-showroom). It maybe noted that the Gusto 110 currently retails for a starting price of INR 49,000.

Mahindra Gusto 125cc Specification
Powering the new Mahindra Gusto 125cc automatic scooter is a 124.57 cc, single-cylinder, four-stroke engine that belts out a max. power of 8.5 bhp @ 7,000 rpm and a peak torque of 10 Nm @ 5,500 rpm. Akin to its 110cc variant, this scooter’s engine comes mated to a CVT. The Gusto 125’s fuel tank has a capacity of 6-litres, and the new model measures 1,825 mm in length, 711 mm in width and 1,188 mm in height. It has a wheelbase of 1,275 mm. The new scooter gets telescopic front forks at front and coil-type, hydraulic suspension at the rear. Braking is courtesy of 130mm drum brake units at front and rear, while its 12-inch wheels come shod with 90/90-spec rubber.
