After Honda and Suzuki, Mahindra & Mahindra is said to be the next emerging player in the two wheeler category and more specifically in the scooter segment. Mahindra, for long, was planning to introduce a better and improved Mahindra Duro and recently it has revealed the same without much media attention.
The Indian brand was busy improving its two wheelers both in terms of performance and quality and the first outcome is the new Mahindra Duro 125 DX. Unlike the previous model the newer one looks complete in all senses, that includes new decals, good body work and good quality paint.
Talking about the overall built quality, the Duro’s body looks very neat and tidy with no visible welding spots or gaps. The most important change on the front of the scooter is the replacement of the leading link front suspension with new age telescopic front suspension. This improves the stability, handling and overall behavior on road.
Another aspect where the Duro has been reworked upon is the ergonomics.New features on the scooter include roomy seats, more legroom for the rider, and the introduction of brake-lever lock mechanism, which already comes with Honda Activa and is very important for gearless scooters.
