Pininfarina Battista at Hyderabad E Motor Show
The first-of-its-kind event has been organised by the Govt. of Telangana to showcase the strengths, capabilities and future of the Global Electric Vehicle Industry. The event hosts automobile technology in the EV space, two-wheelers, three-wheelers and four-wheelers along with commercial automobiles including trucks all with an electric heart. But the show-stopper has to be this incredibly impressive electric hypercar from Mahindra-owned Italian supercar maker, the Pininfarina Battista.

Pininfarina Battista – Specs
The electric hypercar boasts some incredible specs. There is a large 120 kWh battery pack that supplies power to 4 electric motors, one for each wheel. The all-wheel-drive setup puts out a ridiculous 1,900 PS and 2,300 Nm of peak power and torque. This propels the hypercar from 0-100 km/h in an unbelievable 1.86 secs, from 0-200 km/h in 4.75 secs and from 0-300 km/h in under 12 secs. It is based on the Rimac-sourced electric architecture.

When you are not all-out racing on the road (and we suggest you don’t), you will be able to squeeze out a decent electric range of 476 km on a single charge. Moreover, the EV can be charged from 20-80% in just under 25 mins using ultra-fast DC fast charging. Now, we don’t expect it to hit the Indian roads anytime soon but it is great to get acquainted with the latest trends in the EV industry. With the development of the charging infrastructure, we could see something like this making entry into our market in the future.
