Digital automobile artists have a knack for developing enticing iterations of popular vehicles.
This Mahindra Bolero Sports Edition will make you look like a G-Wagon owner. Bolero has been one of the highest-selling SUVs for the Indian auto giant for a long time now. Its rugged nature and adventurous capabilities make it one of the most successful SUVs in our market. The typical buyers primarily hail from the semi-urban and rural regions of the country. Because of its ruggedness, it adapts well to the natural surroundings and environments of the rural scene. It can be used as a people carrier, off-roader, luggage carrier and more. Let us imagine this reliable workhorse in a more premium guise in the digital realm.

Mahindra Bolero Sports as G-Wagon
This virtual illustration comes from Bimble Designs on YouTube. It captures a mad concept. The digital artist has introduced many striking customizations to make it look butch and aggressive. At the front, there are sleek LED lights which run across the width of the bonnet, there is a tough grille, massive air dams on either side of the bumper, a colossal hood scoop, a rugged bumper and more. On the sides is where the resemblance with the G-Wagon is the most apparent. The door panels are devoid of any characteristic creases. There are ginormous alloy wheels with black paint and red inserts oozing sportiness. There is also an air intake on the fender.

Additionally, there are sturdy side body skirtings to make it look hardcore. It also comes with practical roof rails. The wheel arches are enormous and the boxy silhouette adds to the overall appeal. At the rear, we get a completely new design. This includes a sleek LED strip of red light with LED taillamps on either side, the new Mahindra logo, a rugged bumper, and a compact taillight cluster. All in all, the essence of Bolero is not lost but there are additional hints of the G-Wagon. We would love to witness something like this in the flesh although we know it won’t ever happen.

What We Think
We are thrilled to come across such innovative and creative iterations of regular cars. Who would’ve thought of such an avatar of the rather common Bolero SUV? But the credit must be extended to this digital automobile designer who created something so desirable from his imagination. Such iterations give us a glimpse of the potential of their creativity. We know that something like this would never make it to production. But at least we could relish this experience in the virtual world.
