To commemorate the festive season, Mahindra Bolero Power+ gets a new Special Edition, which comes with a couple of new cosmetic features onboard.
The festive season has commenced and automakers have started offering discounts, accessories and some special edition models as well. Mahindra has now launched the Special Edition of Bolero Power+.
Bolero is one heck of a popular UV since its introduction in 2000. It is a great people mover and also has a soft spot among some auto enthusiasts. Since its launch, not much has changed with the Bolero.
The Mahindra Bolero Special Edition comes with additions like Special Edition Decal, Special Edition Seat Cover, Special Edition Carpet Mats, Special Edition – Scuff Plate Set, Steering wheel cover, Front Bumper add-on Fog Lamps and Spoiler with Stop lamp.

Mahindra Bolero Power+ Special Edition continues with the same set of features that come on the top-spec trim. You get Driver-side airbags, Rear Parking Sensors, Anti-lock Braking System, high ground clearance, high angle of approach and departure, front disc brakes, anti-glare IRVM, digital immobilizer, and a seat belt reminder.
It uses a 1.5 Litre three-cylinder turbo-diesel engine that produces 71 BHP and 195 Nm of peak torque, with a 5-speed manual gearbox. The standard Bolero comes with a 2.5-litre diesel engine, that produces 63 BHP and 195 Nm of peak torque.
Mahindra has already received the BS-06 certification for the Bolero and is the first UV to get one. The BS-6 compliant Power+ has already been spied testing and the launch is scheduled to happen in 2020.

At the 2020 Auto Expo, Mahindra is going to unveil the new-generation SUVs including that of Scorpio and Thar. It will also showcase the facelifts of KUV100, TUV300 and XUV500. The new generation XUV 500 is likely to be shown at the Auto Expo.
