Mahindra Bolero has finally been spotted with the updated safety features. The updated workhorse SUV is expected to launch soon in the market.
Safety norms are hitting car manufacturers hard and so it has also caught the Mahindra Bolero now. The spy shots reveal a safety feature, ABS, in the Bolero. That said, now the ruler king will be a safer choice for those who are looking to buy it. The ABS indicator has been positioned beside the engine start-stop button on the dashboard.

Bolero has been in the Indian market since 2001 and clearly is the favourite in rural areas. Last year, Mahindra sold over 75,000 units which clearly makes it why the company wouldn’t stop the production of the car.
Mahindra Bolero updates time to time but still haven’t received any second generation model and the company wishes to keep it this way only. The car is made available in 7, 8 and 9 seat option. The designing of Bolero comes with honeycomb mesh and features dual tone upholstery in the interiors. The car gets 3 years or 100000 km warranty, whichever comes first.

In coming months keeping the pedestrian safety in mind, the company will introduce a softer bumper, higher bonnet and a redesigned grille in coming months. The Bolero is powered by a 2.5-litre m2DiCR engine which generates 63bhp with 195Nm of torque.

Safety features like ABS, rear parking sensors, dual airbags, speed alert system and central locking with manual override will come as standard following July 1, 2019. Crash tests under BNVSAP for clearing driver and passenger safety will be mandatory from October 1, 2019. Also, BS-VI emission norms will be followed by April 2020.
