The manufacturer has showcased the XUV Aero concept, which appears to have taken inspiration from the GLE Coupe and X6 SUV-Sportscar crossovers. Mahindra XUV Aero Coupe SUV Price & Launch Details
Currently the XUV Aero is merely a design study at the moment. Mahindra & Mahindra, however, could push this car into production after gauging the interest of the show-goers at the Auto Expo 2016. We believe that this vehicle, if it ever makes it to production, should retail for roughly INR 15-18 lakhs.

Mahindra at Auto Expo 2016 – Ssangyong Tivoli India Debut
Since Ssangyong‘s acquisition by Mahindra, the only product that they have launched in India is the Rexton. However, the Auto Expo in 2016 will witness the debut of the Tivoli, which will become their second product for the Indian market. The Tivoli is a small crossover roughly the same size as the Creta or Duster, but it will be marketed as a slightly more premium offering than the two.
Ssangyong Tivoli India Price
Prices are expected to start at around INR 12 lacs for the base variants. Although it is similar in size to the Renault Duster, Hyundai Creta and Maruti S-Cross, it will be a slightly more premium offering compared to those three.

Mahindra Cars at Auto Expo 2016 – Mahindra Quanto Facelift India Debut
Although the TUV300 is already taking care of Mahindra’s presence in the compact SUV space, the manufacturer is planning to give the Quanto a comprehensive makeover, which will be revealed at the Auto Expo. The Quanto, in its current avatar, was unable to find too many buyers and Mahindra will be hoping to turn things around with the upcoming facelifted model.
Mahindra Quanto Facelift Price
It will be interesting to see how Mahindra places the Quanto facelift in relation to the TUV300. Our guess is that the new model will slot in between the recently launched KUV100, and the TUV300. Which means a starting price of INR 6 lacs is what we’re expecting.
Mahindra Quanto Facelift – Specs
The facelift could share its engine and transmission options with the TUV300. The 1.5-litre diesel mated to either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT is expected to power the Quanto facelift.
Mahindra Cars at Auto Expo 2016 – Mahindra Verito EV
This will not be the first time that Mahindra will showcase the Verito EV, but they are expected to make an announcement regarding its launch this time around. The EV won’t come cheap as we expect it to be priced significantly higher than the standard diesel variant. The Verito Electric will be aimed at the taxi market and will benefit from the FAME scheme initiated by the Government last year.
Following the ban on 2000cc and above diesel engined vehicles, there have been constant reports of Mahindra working on petrol powered cars for the domestic market. Currently, petrol powered variants of the Scorpio and the XUV500 are being manufactured in India but for export markets only. There is a good chance that Mahindra might consider launching these models in India, seeing as the sales of the diesel powered Scorpio and XUV500 have been banned on the Delhi-NCR region.
